Ankle pain may be of various reasons.
Most commonly it is due to some injury over the ankle causing ligament sprain or fracture.You may not be able to walk due to pain and swelling.An urgent xray will help to diagnose this condition.You may either require a plaster or crepe bandage treatment.
Heel pain is commonly due to tendonitis which is inflamation of the various tendons around the ankle.Treatment requires ice application,medicines to reduce the inflammation and heal the tendons.Footwear modification may also be required along with ankle and foot exercises.Visit your orthopedic doctor to find out the exact cause so that appropriate treatment can be started.
