These diseases are popularly known by names like tennis elbow, golfers elbow, de quervains tenosynovitis, trigger finger etc.These diseases are commonly associated with diabetis and thyroid diseases.

Treatment consist of giving rest to the region in a brace or removable splint,ice application and giving anti-inflammatory medicines to heal the tendons.Specific multivitamins may also be required for a faster recovery.In severe cases a local injection may also be required.
